With a love for fashion, and a distinct appreciation for the art of interpreting style through a still camera, Naresh K. is no stranger to the world of fashion.

As previously mentioned, Naresh K. has a modelling portfolio bursting with the likes of Kenneth Cole, Paul Smith London, and Indian designers; JJ Valaya, Arjun Khanna Khubsoorat Collection and designer Saran Kohli. With ambition to work in the future with Valentino, Versace, Ozwald Boetang and Giorgio Armani.

Naresh describes his personal - fashion style as 'ever-evolving', he not only considers himself to be ahead of the fashion trends/times, but also a risk - taker when embracing new versions of style. His wardrobe consists of multiple levels of retailer and designer fashions.... all to keep up with his appreciation for ever-evolving styles.

Although Naresh is based overseas, when asked of his thoughts about the Australian fashion scene, Naresh replies, "from what I've seen and heard, the Australian fashion scene is getting more recognised and is making its mark around the world". Naresh is open to working in the Australian fashion scene, if ever the opportunity arises........he would love to experience what Australian has to offer in terms of fashion & style.

Passionate, energetic and spontaneous is how international model and actor Naresh K. describes himself as being. Passionate for his craft and skill, energetic in his drive and thrill for keeping himself thriving in such a fast industry, and spontaneous for his spirit in living and loving life, embracing each and every opportunity as it comes. What appears to be a 'ridiculously' good looking man, also comes with him...... a very serious sense of determination and drive to reach his goals.

As an international model, Naresh has graced the pages of some of the world's most coveted publications; GQ, Vogue, Verve and L'officiel, he has also appeared in various television commercials for Nokia & Samsung.. to name just a few. His portfolio has seen him featured in editorial campaigns for Paul Smith London and Kenneth Cole.

From a young age, Naresh had always known he would walk along this path as a career choice, "acting has always been in my blood till since I can remember, growing up in a family full of movie addicts always gave me the drive to be on screen" - Naresh K.

The modelling aspect entered his life at a time when university beckoned to find a means to continue, at first taking on modelling part - time.... and then gradually with exposure, time and opportunities, the 'so called' part-time journey evolved into a full - time career.

It was his successful career in modelling that naturally propelled Naresh into the lights, camera and action in acting. Like many in this industry, Naresh utilised his experience in modelling and crossed over into the world of acting, his perseverance paid off when he landed a main lead role in an American, Canadian feature film, "Pseudo - Blood Of Our Own".

When asked whether he had a preference over Modelling or Acting, and which does he enjoy the most, Naresh diplomatically replies ( sitting on the fence line of both ) ; "I enjoy both..with acting, I have the capability to lose myself in another character, but modelling allows me to get my acting skills out there, as I get to portray certain looks and emotions through a still camera. Modelling was a great stepping stone to get into acting".

From catwalks to cinematic experiences and still cameras to rolling cameras, Naresh takes it in his stride in remaining true to his goals and existence within the industry where so many dream of being in, but rarely survive and then eventually giving up on. He believes that in order to succeed in this industry, one needs to maintain a level of hard work, dedication and perseverance. He also acknowledges that the "cliche of being at the right place at the right time, and who you know is very true". But if you remain "positve and not allow yourself to be discouraged, then this is the main key to keeping yourself motivated and to be seen in the industry".

These day's you'll find Naresh working on several projects, as he coyly advises us to; "watch this space!" . Currently based in Europe, France ( for work ), but regularly travels to Asia, North America and USA, Naresh is a travelling 'ambition', it's hard not to recognise that Naresh has clear goals and ambitions to succeed beyond his original intentions for being in this industry, what began as a chance moment in his life.... has now grown into something much greater than that............... xo:)

Hello to my fellow Madam AE readers! After disappearing and going off the radar for a few months..................... ( ages, ages and ages ) I have decided to return to a humble form of fashion review. A lot has happened since my 'laying low' period, I've taken time out from reviewing my love for fashion and have had a wonderful time exploring my love for other things.... amongst these many loves of mine, is my passion to help others turn their passions and dreams into reality..... through creativity.

So, after the trials and tribulations of 'this and that', and a wonderful support network of great friends and family... I embarked on creating a PR Agency.."Mondiale Media" , my vision was to provide a service which supports and promotes the brand, service and purpose of the business/ profile. VINTAGE - NEW... NEW CREATING THE OLD

Love this

Straight from Regina Garde. These arm candy must haves are swinging left, right and centre on the stylish so- ho , bo - ho part vintage loving fashionista.

I particularly am not bothered with the floral take, and chain straps. The floral gives it that vintage feel, almost grandma - ish... but of course terribly stylish because op - shop revived like style is so in at the moment, except in this instance, it's an 'old take of style' but so new.... aka 'vintage new???' (the technique of creating the new to look like the old)

The old school strap bag creates that nostalgic feel of the days when school boys/ and girls carted their books in side strap bags.....without reiterating my thoughts too much..., I quite fancy this collection.. the colours reflect that fruit tingle like effect, yet paying homage to the era of 'yester - year'....( if you know what I mean).

It could possibly be too soon to process Winter fashion fancies in our minds... but when I came across this image.. I instantly fell in love with the 'fur' appeal skirt and her street smart savvy denim vest and animal print ankle heeled boot style.

Fast forward to the Winter days and I can so see myself and all the fashion lovers warming it up in a fur like version of this oh so gorgeous skirt. I love, love, love xoxoxox.

I hope this image has inspired the Winter wardrobe for some, it definitely has inspired me, to fur it up.. but in a safe sense xo. I would love to see it in burgundy or mustard... both are devine Winter palettes xo

Amongst the frantic passing of Christmas and New Years.... I have completely lost track of the minutes and hours of the days......., still in the hum drum of 2010.... I know, I really should get with the programme, fast forward myself to 2011!. My inbox is choc - a - block full of fashion fancies with the Aw/ Winter look books coming in thick and fast and of course all the lovely invitations to the new beginnings of some very interesting and creative industries xo.

I promise in the next few weeks, I shall dust off and re -seat myself on the Madam Ae fashion throne.

I am excited for 2011... given that we are a few weeks already into it and nearing to the end of January.... I am looking forward to the bursts of creative energy and the stylish imprints adorning our trendy streets and shores xoxo.

Exquisite materials (leather, leather and leather), design and style. Carmen Steffens is the new quiet achiever in the land of the luxury. The label stems from the land of the hot, tanned and fabulously sensual beings of.... BRAZIL.

Epitomising nothing but style and grace, each design flatters all those pedicured toes xoxo. I absolutely love the 'pop' of colour in the summer style sandals! xx. Completely befitting for the sunny climate of Australia.

Already embedded in stylish reputation in parts of the world of North America, South America, Europe, Africa and coming soon Asia ( Japan ). Already with one store in Canberra ( Australia ), I am terribly surprised and extremely disappointed that Carmen Steffens cannot be found anywhere else in Australia!! ( what kind of fashion faux pas is this!!??? )

I predict that this luxury label, is teetering on the edge of shifting the Australian needs in stylish foot forms. From stencilled designs, to intricate gem and stone embellishments to playful popping colour palettes... there is something about the Carmen Steffens designs which makes my stylish heart skip with joy! xo.

In the next week... leading up to Xmas (Christmas), I will be displaying a series of designs, from footwear, bags and something for the male form all from Carmen Steffens. So stay tuned, and in the mean time appreciate the latest Spring / Summer 2011 campaign from Carmen Steffens... all the way from sizzling Brazil xo.

MAXI, TO THE MAX

Hopping onto the 'maxi' phenomenon yet again this year. Maxi dresses are terribly in.... terribly to the meaning of 'excessively'. Falling prey to this need to wear something sweeping, lengthy and feminine ( but in a care-free sense), I too have invested in a few key maxi pieces but only enough so to take me through those sun drenched days when likened to slipping into a pair of jeans to that of throwing over an effortless, zipless and sometimes strapless maxi dress....... xoxo.

Don't go overboard with this investment, just feed your wardrobes with 3 to 4 key pieces of maxis ( skirt or dress ).

Dear Madam Alexandra E.

When I think of Australia, words like sun-drenched, beach, blonde surfers, aboriginals and the Sydney Opera House come to my mind immediately. But while I love Aussie designers like Alice McCall, Sass & Bide and Dion Lee, the Fashion scene in Australia is quite under-exposed on my side of the Pacific. However don’t get me wrong, it’s changing and in the good way. For example, TopShop asked Alice McCall to collaborate on two successful capsule collections while Sass & Bide is becoming an established label in the country of her Majesty. A brand like Ksubi has found a large web of stockists in the US. And this is just a short-list to demonstrate that buyers and editors from the North are slowly and progressively turning their heads to the Australian fashion industry.

So, what does it mean? Why such interest now? The Australian lifestyle is usually described as laid back by most, and it translates into the clothes. To survive in the sun-drenched streets of Melbourne, my only hope would be to wear comfortable and stylish clothes for a complete sun-bath. However, having never been to Australia, my reflection is mostly based on street style snapshots taken through the lenses of Facehunter or The Sartorialist. Of course these people are probably among the 2% most stylish Australian but largely enough to give us an idea of what’s the Australian fashion in terms of culture and design.

Compared to other cities like Paris, Milan or NY where we seem to be more focused on sophistication, provocation and edge, Australian designers differentiate themselves with enthusiasm. My favorite designers are Alice McCall and Dion Lee, and I recently fell in love with Karla Spetic and Alexi Freeman.

Their enthusiastic approach to design outfits is recognizable by these modern and architectural cuts to ease and flatter the body, and by the punchiness of the colors and mix of colors that are used as if someone exploded the Jelly Beans factory. But what could come out tacky, is definitely not. It seems that the designers have a natural talent to design chic, playful, wearable day and night, and flirty outfits. Dion Lee, for example, is really having a fantastic year. No doubt he will end up showing next year either in London or in NY, perhaps, even Paris. His unique vision of sculpture and construction generates intrigue and attention. His work is both architectural and artful; innovating what is womenswear and actually making women desire to wear his outfits.

His futuristic-boho is well articulated with this magical palette of purple. And, it seems Australia has a large resource of pattern-making wizards.

Spring Summer 2011 - the emergence of male fashion styling. Everything's The Same is a label based in Brisbane catering for the rare male fashion forms wandering amongst the sea of textiles, designs and man bags. Its designer and owner, Tom Reddaway.

The S/S 2011 collection from Everything's The Same, dictates a combination of simple, wearable pieces and striking displays of soft twisting origami style tactics.

"Come away with me" is the title for the much anticipated Spring/ Summer 2010- 2011 collection for the dynamic design duo, Jasmine&Will. A family team consisting of an aunt ( Kaye Williams ) and a niece (Jasmine Linsday ).. created from the need to allow women to feel 'non - cluttered' in her sense of dress.

The collection instantly 'soothes' my being, taking away the need for on demand trends and substituting it with a craving for all things 'fuss - free', 'simple' & 'airy'. Its uncomplicated blend of nautical with natural is the perfect compliment to this craving.

Every now and again my fashion yearnings long for the need to escape... escape from the hustle bustle of 'beading's, embellishments and eclectic colours of all things busy and shiny... Mirror Mirror agencies launched its 'personable' motto to the creative lovers of Brisbane last night. Its models depicting the notion that "personality" trumps over "looks"... not to say that the MM recruits were lacking in looks, but one could certainly see the difference from MM Models to that of a Ford ( U.S ) or Viviens ( Aus) breed of model ( I am not insinuating anything... do not make an assumption please....)

The Mirror Mirror agencies concept, is I guess no different to the debate of 'naturally full bodied women , over the slimmer versions'. Their concept instead, is beauty based on 'personality' ( So I guess, you could be as stunning as Miranda Kerr or Agyness Deyn, but unless you have the words 'Please & Thank - you in your vocabulary, then MM just might not recruit you... I wonder how they screen this process of selecting 'personable models?'... it must be a given talent of reading 'personality intuition' that Mr T.N has.... xx.)

Back to the event;
Guests were treated to a drama/ theatrical creative type dance display.... I found the experience to be 'different', 'unique', 'un-pretentious' and certainly not what one would expect to pay witness to at a fashion / modelling event. The MM playground was vibrant & youthful and the set up was 'large'.. they definately drew an impressive crowd of 'fashion appreciators'.... all in support of this one mans dream and concept.

The creative dance act......

When we think of a 'fashion event/ parade' we immediately think of something classy, upstream and well... NYC? or Sydney Rosemount type?... MM gave me the impression that they are far from any of that, and instead.. they are setting out to 're-shape' the modelling industry, by creating this niche, artsy, creative presentation infused with modelling..xx. (Creative make-up artistry & Lady Ga Ga inspired head pieces)

It's beautiful that Mr Tin N. has this vision to market modelling as personality and that he has created a reason for the young and unique to come out and embrace this 'modelling evolution'. As natural as the concept may sound, it truly also has its taboo thoughts and opinions.

Bravo to MM and its Director for bringing out the very YOUNG and FRESH ( young, because last night was brimming with young creative lovers ), I support those who are setting out to create 'impact and input' into the Australian fashion & beauty industry..... correction; in MMs case, Australian fashion and 'personality' industry xo. I would have to say, that Mr Tin N. is indeed ambitious and just loving the industry completely.

Overall, the experience was different & mixed, there were moments when it appeared to be a rehearsal of the event, but in actual fact, it was the event.... but I just lay this down to the fact that MM was once again being 'down to earth' and natural in all their conceptual ways.....xo

TOM FORD - the rebirth

So there appears to be three big 'topics' of conversation which has to be had over cups of tea and wine; 1. Tom Ford's rebirth into the field of womenswear, 2.Victoria Beckhams New York Fashion Week debut showing and 3. Television Queen, Oprah Winfrey touching down to Australia in December ( Sorry had to throw this one in, because that's all I've been hearing all day! xo).

The creme de le creme of putting on a private fashion soiree, could only have been achieved by Mr Tom Ford, creative director, designer, visionary and much more. His ability to pull off a fashion event aimed with 'exclusivity' written all over it, has surpassed the entire meaning of the term 'exclusivity' in the land of fashion royalty. Exclusive indeed! ( no outside photographers, except for his in-house photographer, and only 100 exclusively invited guests)

With self commentary by the man himself, Mr Tom Ford narrated his own showing, introducing his very special models; women who epitomised the era of expensive taste and reflected the power of luxury ( Beyonce, Lauren Hutton and Julianne Moore just to name a few ) and simply, women who had inspired him.

In the mean time every fashionista will just have to wait till 2011 next year, when Mr Tom Ford will release pictures of his womenswear collection.. till then; such fashionable stirrings could only have been achieved in the land of luxury, the land of Mr Tom Ford.

The verdict: Mr Tom Ford has been welcomed back with open arms, nil criticism and an embrace of fashion ovations. Such a pity we weren't able to provide the same reception of open arms when Australia's own fashion creative, Mr Peter Morrissey rebirthed himself...... ( ooops, I really had to put that in ).

Inspired by the rule 'quality over quantity'- Milly Ziesemer, gave birth to her loved and much caressed label; ZIESEMER. She believes that there is no room "to skint, and no corners to cut, in the production room", and that her label creates "well cut, and well made clothing that people want to wear".

I first set my sights on the Ziesemer label, when an unknown sent through some pics, and then directed me to the blog.. curiosity arose... then came an appreciation, then came... lets find out a bit more....

Ziesemer is one of those labels, that impress you with its creations from the beginning, yet you don't know exactly what to make of it?... but then it has a continuous presence in your memory.... and then you know.... yes you know... you know that there is something special...and it is something to watch for ( success.. in the making).

The next time I came across a Ziesemer creation, was at the YEDP ( Young Emerging Designers Party)... hands up and hands down!, Ziesemer left an evitable impression; with words slurring in ones mind; 'artistic, architectural and simply....'she's onto something' ( words slurring in my mind, when I think of Ziesemer).

Milly Ziesemer has big plans for her label.. in no particular order;

1. Grow creatively

2.Explore untouched avenues

3.Gain more stockists and press

4.Gain recognition as a renowned fashion forward women's label ( I second the terminology 'Fashion Forward', Ziesemer is inexplicably 'fashion forward' indeed!

Just what is in the mind of Milly Ziesemer?... I think; a very creative fashion talent, with an intelligent artistic vision, with a high level of EQ ( emotional quotient) married with an equal amount of IQ (intelligent quotient).

Citing 'Alexander Wang and Ellery' as masters of genius... Milly Ziesemer could possibly be bashful, because my dear, you could possibly be the next 'creative genius' in your time xoxo.

Oh how I would love to see a 'Junior Project Runway' style television show, based on little fashion creatives, churning out fashion collections, from ages of 8 and 12 or less?....

Imagine all the little creative minds, milling about, busily designing and creating little fashion creations!!! xo. Bring on the next much younger generations of Alexander Wangs', Nicola Finettis' and Sass and Bide duo's. These mini fashion maestros exist!, yes they do!

If there are little chefs in the world, then I am sure there are the secret little Valentinos' sitting in their creative nursery's dreaming of the next fashion trend....xoxo.

MBFF - a refreshing change in atmoshpere

Congratulations to the team at LBM ( Lindsay Bennett Marketing )this year!

In it's fifth year, it would be the ultimate testament to say, or should I say to declare, that the annual MBFF was the best one ever to be staged in Brisbane.

No Hotel lobby style parades, no school formal type set ups ( 2009 ), but instead, this year..2010, MBFF has taken the giant leap to up its game and present to the fashionable entourage of Brisbane, a fashion festival which I can so proudly say.. is right on par, next to its sister cities of Sydney and Melbourne!.

It was refreshing to witness, the high calibre of creative direction presented at this years showing. The grand marquee setting, oozing style and stage sophistication, a backdrop which was so befitting for every piece of creation making its debut in a professional parade setting down the 'oh so forever metres long runway carpet'.

This year, seated amongst other fashion lovers alike, I felt truly immersed in a 'fashion scene', lights, camera and action!.

A standing ovation to Mr LB and his team this year, for staging a showing which deserves an encore from all of us. xo

After clicking away at the Mbff Schwarzkopf Professional Hair and Fashion Show... I made my way to the much talked about and anticipated YEDP ( Young Emerging Designers Party) organised by the Felix and Slink ( group ), masterminded by its Creative Director Mr Tom O'connor, and sponsored by a bevvy of heavy fashion players within the industry.

Keeping to its strict ticketed event policy... if your name was not on the list, then 'slim', would have been your chances of entering into this 'exclusive' soiree.

The atmosphere was 'fanciful'... I truly felt that I was in an episode of 'Gossip Girls', where the young and elite fashion minds of today and tomorrow were mingling amongst themselves, clinking flutes of bubbly and cheek to cheek air kisses smothering the atmosphere.

Pee Wee Herman style clad preppy's to the left of me........, a fashionista dressed to resemble that of part sailor moon ( the cartoon character ) and part little miss muffet who sat on a tuffet.. but looking absolutely stylish xx, to the right of me. The air was a buzz with creative minds thinking aloud.

The YEDP was a night when the stylish elite young guns... (along with the experienced players...) came out to frolick and play in the lounge room of Laruche.

I departed after the showcase parade.... but was there long enough to have come to the conclusion that Mr Tom O'connor is indeed extremely clever, I believe that he has only just begun casting his great creative eye onto Brisbane, and that he is influencing a new wave of 'social party etiquette'.

It is safe for me to predict that Mr Tom O'connor has definately raised a 'new bar' in the social scene of Brisbane, and that any event Mr Tom O'connor organises or collaborates with will surely be a 'must attend' event from here on........xox. Felix & Slink.. possibly in demand. Or should I say Mr Tom O'Connor highly in demand.

Parisian flair once again well executed!. The Boudoir theme was befitting with each creation resembling that of a street Parisian queen... : half regal, half sultry, bouffant, bouffant, bouffant & bouffant!

Dear YoungDesignersOnline.com.au,

I was balancing on the feeling that YDO may have achieved more, if showcased in a Student category? or new emerging talent category?( if there is or was one)... however it is noted that YDO is a concept.. and that it highlights the YDO concept with the designers under it.

Honestly, I think by placing the concept of YDO amongst and along side designers like Subfusco, Gail Sorronda and Bettina Liano, this didn't highlight the greatness of the YDO concept, but instead, slightly overshadowed it..... However, bravo for YDO's first Mbff showcase. I still believe that YDO has great potential to assist young designers in Australia to find ground and 'fashion existence' online. ( Madam Ae. always in appreciation to those who provide input and impact ) xo.

I loved Neon Heartache as always. Shardie is one to keep an eye on, I think. xo.

Dear Mr Joshua S. ( SUBFUSCO),

The show truly felt like JUST a SUBFUSCO show, given how many Subfusco creations made its presence on the runway. It was great to witness the images come alive in real time.

Although the feeling of a galactic world ( as previously repeatedly reflected through style and design) was not visually focused upon, I could still feel the creative energy and mind of the Subfusco world. As suggested earlier, enter and exit effortlessly from one world to the next.

SUBFUSCO - HOMME S/S 2011 - LUMINOUS

Part 2: This is Subfusco S/S 2011 Homme collection .. titled LUMINOUS.

Clearly Mr Joshua S. has a very defined impression of what he would like the male fashion forms to be draped in, come Spring /Summer on this side of the fashion globe.

It has always been evident that Subfusco is set to define ...... and redefine how male fashion should be envisaged.

I love how the designer has taken away not entirely the element of how the Spring Summer Season still glorifies the Aussie Tank - T for the male form. He has cleverly reinvented this Australian 'ode' of uniform to somehow give us the illusion that it is in fact quite impressionable and stylish to wear a tank T style like singlet.

The colours are extremely soothing and calming, retaining the very seasons in which it is created for. I love the tight form fitting elements.... as I said.. 'defining' the male form..xox.

The attention to detail is captivating.. whether it be that extra length added to the sleeve, the reduction in hemline the knotted waist line or the introduction of classy khaki style shorts... classy, because it reminds me of intertwining a day in the Hamptons coupled with a day strolling the laneway markets.... ( yes, my mind goes deep into imagination when appreciating the fashion creations of others..xoxo), the Homme Luminous collection of Subfusco.. has just opened the doors to a new world of fashion order.

The Subfusco team has cleverly delivered elements of design in its Homme collection, which one would normally witness in a female collection.... body suit style shirts, quarter length pants..sheer throwovers.. xoxo.

SUBFUSCO FEMME 2011 .... a limitless feeling

Only a few more sleeps till the annual MBFashion Festival... counting down to a fashion frenzy, as the Brisbane fashion lovers come out to witness the fashion talents from fashion creatives from all levels.

A label which clearly clings.. or should I say clearly stands tall on its own level, is SUBFUSCO. Yes.. a label I have blogged frequently about, because I believe the creations alone, reflect a very independent message ( too serious?.. well, kind of like an art curator..., put on your fashion curator minds and tap into the creative head of Mr J.S.. mind of the Subfusco helm, trust me you'll receive the message he is trying to channel into your fashion conscious drobes.

Following each collection release..., a serious fashionista cannot help but feel taken on a journey of 'timely growth' through the epic space like world of Mr J.S. His current collection , I feel emits a sense of 'coming out of the space like shell, but not conforming entirely'???, yet still manage to create pieces which allows for the flexibility of transforming into what and which ever you and your little fashion heart desires ( e.g. I look at the lemon cape creation, and can so envisage draping it over a little summer ensemble of tight shorts, with just as a tight top.. all black.., well pedicured toes and crystal encrusted flats.. ( NOT THONGS or FLIP FLOPS... ), worn on a hot spring/ summer evening.

That's the addictive part of the Subfusco creations... you can wear it according to the SUBFUSCO galactic world.. or you can simply adorn and transition it into your world....the imagination of 'wearing' is limitless.

Pleasing to see the random injections and splashes of colour palettes in this latest femme collection, after all, Spring and Summer can't possibly be entirely remembered as the colour of androgynous darkness?! .

YOUNG EMERGING DESIGNERS PARTY - an almost tipped to be a secretive and classy fashion soiree.

Now who said that Brisbane was not capable of putting on a niche, classy, private and fashionable soiree?.... this may have been the perception of many, including my own.. a while ago. But I have a feeling this perception may change.. After viewing the program of the Mbff and selecting only one show which I thought worthy of attending.. ( not in any way implying that the other shows are not worthy.. but just not right now dear xx).

My fashion spirits were lifted when an invitation was brought to my attention to attend this little almost secretive event( of course I am embellishing on the fact it is 'secretive') - I believe tickets are available for public purchase on the 28th July 2010... http://www.yedp.com.au/

I'm so deliciously referring to the event of YEDP ( Young Emerging Designers Party)- a little social concept developed by the ever impressive Felix and Slink group. I have a bubbling feeling that the partying minds of the Felix and Slink group ( I say group, because it sounds so much more cliche, powerful and feels more like a social concept conglomerate) will be transforming the fashion social scene of Brisbane, bringing together a much more classy, sassy, fresh and almost as I said earlier secretive affair feeling.

I completely approve of this fresh and classy approach.. as opposed to the random fashion events held in clubs and pubs for any random rock a long... This style of an event, lends to the participants a much more reputable and impressive impression.

The concept of YEDP... simply as is the title.. Young Emerging Designers Party. I gather that it is a classy excuse to celebrate the just peaking, just rising and just emerging creative talents within the fashion industry.

I also gather, that as one of its sponsors, Vivien's ( Model Management) that it will also be an opportunity to expose the new model faces of today.

Sponsored also by MBFF, vogue.com.au, and also some local fashion creatives.. YEDP.. just might be the beginning of a 'very big event' in the next few years.

Predicting that the event is purposely geared to be intimate, its location; Laruche.

The attraction?... why am I attending? answer: Paula Kyle Walden.. ( although I disagree that this label is young and emerging.. I believe the Paula Kyle Walden label ( Her creations a positively captivating)) is past emerged and is something much bigger and greater xo. But it is rightfully correct to have the label associated at an event sponsored by the next best thing to the Vogue glossy.. vogue.com.au.) and Zeisemer ( the label).. already the collection has aroused my fashion fancy and I'm out to find out more xx.

As I discreetly attend this event ( well, not so discreet now), wait for my fashion observations on this very little, classy event. xoxo.

TAREE BIRSE S/S 2010 - interpreting a princess.. I think..xx

I was forwarded the latest Taree Birse S/S 2010 look book.... and now I am sharing some key looks with you.

This is the label Taree Birse. A little label showcasing at this years MBFF 2010 .

The Spring Summer collection portrays an array of 'cocktail' type colours, splashes of colour spritz here and there. The theme although not yet provided, I can only presume that of an era of the modern day 'Princess' coupled with a distinct notion of feminine strength.

The inclusion of detailed triangular edges brings the modern element to each garment, soft and flowing intertwined with an edgy feeling indeed. xx.

On first glance, it almost bewildered me, because it was definately an interpretation of another era, with a very femme fatale girl(y) slant. The choice of colour pallette indeed took me one step back.. but befittingly so, suited the collection so much so, that it took me two steps forward (again).

Taree Birse manages to tease the fashion lover with adding the odd neutral design of flowy, one colour palette, maxi style ensembles.

And we mustn't forget the little black numbers.

I'm not sure.., but I think it is something you can almost become very accustomed with, if you give yourself long enough to interpret the designers sense of feminine delight in the creations. I'll say I like it,... I like the current collection of Taree Birse, stepping out of the drony monotone colours wins a thumbs up from me, for now.

TRAVELLING SHOE BOUTIQUE MAKEOVER!

A very interesting segment recently aired.... "shoe makeover boutique"
Making over the foot form of all fashion or 'want to be' fashion foot lovers!

What a unique and interesting concept! Taking your lovely shoe creations across the globe.. setting it up like that of a classy shoe boutique ( decked with the six most must have shoe every woman should have, and the best of the best team of shoe experts, shoe stylists etc) and encouraging fashion lovers all over to trade in and trade up their 'has been, was been' foot wear. Shoe makeover here they come!

This is something Shoes of Prey or / and Princess Chic shoes should consider doing!!
Shoe revolution trade up!

I would strongly encourage and recommend all thong slapping wearer's to trade up the 'flip flops' ( Aussie slang / terminology for the foot wear thong. and not the garment thong) for a pair of sleek eye candy foot form wears! xx

P.s. apparently on this particular program, they declared that the six must have foot wear every woman should have are.

1.Ballet flat / sandal flat
2.Kitten heeled shoe
3.Heeled boot
4.running shoes ( stylish ones of course!), not the ones to run in, but the ones that you simply put on with your stylish 'Juicy Couture' sport outfit and your Marc Jacob bag that is wearable for day.
5.Wet boot/ all weather boot ( Gum Boot)
6.a pair of killer looking evening heels!!!

Does anybody notice that the flip flop thong is not on this list???.. THANK GOODNESS! the thong/ flip flop cannot be classified as stylish footwear.

I'm back.. and now Off on a guest speaking assignment............................xx.

But before I venture off, I leave you with a few of my whimsical fashion thoughts:

It was lovely to see the Mbff doing their work selecting models for the Bris. Fashion Event, and such a sight, to see the designers seated either side.. not really knowing what to do... being in an environment with so many other like minded creatives!xx

Saw Mr LB... saying on television something about selecting healthier models or something for this years show. Here we go again... "fight for the right to have full bodied models sashaying down the runway".. NO COMMENT.. I'm sure everyone already knows how I feel about this particular topic!

Oh, I must say, before I forget.. very deserving for Mr George Wu to be selected as one of the finalists to go onto the next round of the Chambord Shine Awards... I was slightly puzzled when Talulah posted on it's FB page that they had won the awards?????.. Ummm you mean you have been selected along with two other labels to progress onto the next level.xx

Plus Size Vs Fashion World Size.

The debate over real size models Vs Fashion World Models...... hmmmm never ending airing of debatable opinions.

A certain fashion agent was miffed over their 'real life' models not being selected for a particular fashion show this year.... ( as they were welcome with open arms last year).. well honey.. fashion is fickle..you're either needed or you're not!xx, get over it.. and trump on!

Applause, applause to Mr Alex Perry for making a recent comment to the Daily Telegraph.. about his right to choose his own models, stating " Nobody is going to tell me how to pick models" - Alex Perry. I couldn't agree more!!

The Fashion World is a Realistic Fantasy World.. where the imaginations of the creative minds come to life. What starts off in a blue print format... soon comes to real life played out on the catwalk.

I have before aired my thoughts about this topic.. and I still haven't changed my position!.. I don't know about you,... but I love attending shows that depict a model muse.. who displays the creation according to her creative master.. ( the designer). I am inclined to be propelled into a fantasy fashion world.. where I can view models sashaying down catwalks to the rhythm of their own beat.. and not to the rhythm of their over sized hips.... ( yes, yes.. this part is going to cause controversy.... but hey it's my opinion~!xx).

I am also not against the right for designers to happily choose their image!.. if so and so designer requires a plus size model for their creation.. then so bit it!.. but please don't take away the designers rights to also have the option of 'the other model'.

Maybe it comes down to the Designers' Rights!!!??? xxx mwah.

RSFF - ROSEMOUNT SYDNEY FASHION FESTIVAL.... ...

On another shore.......: So this is the event following after MBff. The equivalent to the Rosemount Fashion week... but open to the public.. and not just to the select fashion pack industry.

Dare I compare the two??? MBFF to RSFF??... no I'm not going to even attempt.

I will focus on the RSFF (Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival) for now. Had a quick look at their programme.... and let me say, for all true dedicated fashion lovers and followers... pack your fashion cases, strap on your heels, throw on a cape and head yourself to Sydney between the 23rd August - 28th August 2010!!... For those in the land of OVERSEAS..... either get yourself there then, or else...follow it deeply through the Aussie fashion Glossy Mags.

The line up on designers showcasing.. is an Australian fashion lovers dream... creations bore from the minds of ALEX PERRY, CAMILLA AND MARC, SASS AND BIDE, WAYNE COOPER, ED HARDY, GINGER AND SMART, ANNA AND BOY, JULI GRBAC ...and a MASSIVE LINE UP OF MUCH MORE!

This is the festival where you come to view the big talents of Australia's Fash Pack Industry!xx

It's a shame because there were a few designers showcasing in the MBFF.. whom I would have loved to see take their five minutes of fashion public appreciation of fame at the RSFF... hint hint... Subfusco... Neon Heartache ( possibly???, or maybe are you??, but I couldn't find you on the programme list?).... ( You would receive so much more press on that side of OZ).... but HEY... MBFF.. is a great place to start spreading your wings.. for some exposure... and after all if it's your home grown turf then.. it is befitting... ( so then how come.. Sass and Bide aren't showcasing at MBFF? but instead at RSFF? xxx.

Bravo to the organisers of RSFF... about to pull off another fashion event extravaganza for the general fashion lover public!!.

SOOT: YOUTHFUL CREATIVE

Edwina Sinclair.... the youthful creative behind the label SOOT. Engineered by the talents of her creative soul... her label epitomises elements of subdued blackness in a 'girly' form.

The Soot label is not one to shy away from either designing the norm... but also adding a sense of 'abnorm'....( if you understand what I mean.) Extra - elongated elements added to some of her creations, cater to the 'unusual factor' of the Soot. label.

Although the label is not entirely a 'wow' prodigy... it does however definately has 'something' unique. And with a bit of clever nurturing on the 'business' side of things.... Soot could possibly be predicted to see bigger things.

My creative opinion?... create a collection with 'slick' 'marketable' elements.. appealing to your direct 'target group of fashion lovers'..... then release it like a 'publicity machine!'.

These days the story of young emerging creatives just doesn't cut it as a good story....., Brisbane is already using this notion to death.. so come into the press with a creative strategy!!

Let the creative business brain begin!!! xxo

SUBFUSCO CONCEPT STORE: the home of Mr JS.

Upon invitation to this event, I discreetly entered the Subfusco concept store opening. Everything appeared well in check... all efforts were made to clearly make this an 'opening event'. Decked with the mini red carpet.. and a member of the Subfusco team diligently stationed at the door, ticking off names as guests entered.

Not really uttering a single word, I made my way around the store taking in all surroundings and doing what I simply do best.... just OBSERVING!.

My observations in no particular order... but instead from the top of my memory:

1. The host Mr Joshua S. a very gracious host indeed. I could see upon observation, that he made his presence be known in a very accepting manner.. 'no loud boisterous - "this is me the designer personality".. but instead his presence was conducted almost in a 'home-like' sense. An analogy I can use is... I got the feeling that Mr JS was simply 'Welcoming' his guests into his 'home' xo. Almost like when an owner of his home opens up his doors, and he is excited, proud and confident to put his work on display xoxo.

2. His team was scattered amongst the bevvy of guests.. the in - store stylists.. the model.. etc, no feeling of a pretentious environment, but instead a very relaxed evening.

3. Like his designs... the store was purely... simple, purely white.. and purely not decked out with nonsense. The space was small and almost intimate with the Femme and Homme collections clearly housed on opposite sides of the room. The designs?... simply fantastic... I have always been an astute fan of the Subfusco label, I have always declared that Mr JS has the talent of tapping into the 'tomorrow market' for the 'today market'. Simply thinking ahead of his creatives.

4. I loved the 'lane - way' outdoor style set up.. which was pretty much next door to the concept store... it allowed guests to appreciate Mr J's talents in one area.. and then allowed his guests to step out and simply enjoy the open air in a party style atmosphere xoxo.

Conclusion: The event was non - cliche...., yet at the same time maintaining a very individual 'flare'. I fell in love with the Subfusco 'Extragalactic Cape'... in black and white xo.

This Fall on this side of the Hemisphere.. it's all about Subfusco.

P.S. and of course The Subfusco team managed to attract the clicking of cameras from various press. xoxo.

MAKE SEAN FAMOUS: OH WHAT A SHAME!

Oh what a complete shame! why isn't the little Brisbane label 'Make Sean Famous' participating in this years Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival?

I was truly predicting big things for this underground men's label. Kind of like another hooray moment as it was for Daniel Alexander when he pulled out that lacy creation!xo.

I've heard whispers that Mr Barker the creative behind 'Make Sean Famous' is taking a seat back and 'reassessing' the business.... in my opinion?, maybe he's just cleverly re-thinking, re-inventing and re-igniting the perfect moment to re-introduce the brand. ( smart little thing is he xoxo).

I am a true advocate for Male fashion.. ( the Male-ista). Brisbane is slowly, offering so much more temptations for the male fashion lover form.. and honestly?, I am very excited!.

There is nothing more appealing than to have a male form take that little bit of extra effort in investing in his wardrobe. Soon enough, gone will be the days of the boring thought " Men have very little fashion options", but instead I declare to all male form.. 'THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX!", look into the 'future'.. ( sounding too much like some clairvoyant, preaching on a fashionable mission!xox)

Anyway my point back to Mr Barker... focus on one conception, is it the 'shoe?, the men's wear? or the bag?'. As a designer who has just entered the market it's best to brand and market yourself on one particular offering, and then as the following progresses.. naturally the induction of other products can follow.

For e.g. I love the idea of The Make Sean Famous 'The Crux Jean"... I would simply call it 'The Crux'. The crux I predict could be a very big fashion moment for The Make Sean Famous label... kind of like how 'the rat' leggings for were sass and bide.. and of course their signature jeans.

I would love to see... your little following standing around the streets of Brisbane, and nationally if possible with hand written sign posts reading..'Make Sean Famous'... and handing out postcard sized images of 'The Crux'.. and of course details of where and how!...( just an idea xo, what a fabulously creative marketing stunt!)

Just something little for you to think about Mr Barker xoxo. Make Sean Famous... INDEED.

WHIMSICAL WEEKEND THOUGHTS.

hmmmm, the Fashion industry is an expanding chain... each one feeding off each other like one big food chain.

Designer/ creative - pr & marketing - media/ press - fashion agent - stockists - consumer/ fashion lover

One big feeding frenzy, in no particular order, but working in a very animalistic type order, each one providing the essential to one another, but yet also eating from one another in order to survive.

Hmmmm this is just a whimsical lazy weekend thought...

So at the end of the day, the designer needs every aspect in order to survive, pr needs designer in order to survive.. media needs consumer interest and the designer in order to survive, the fashion agent needs the designer and stockists in order to survive, the consumer needs the designer, stockists and media in order to survive, the stockists needs, the designers, and consumers in order to survive.... OH Heck.. I think they all need each other vice versa in order to survive... one big happy feeding frenzy really! xoxo

LOVER THE LABEL

Today is just an entry of thought. Sipping on a lovely piping hot tea....... basking in the glory of my thigh highs.. and just simply typing.

The MBFF is slowly creeping up.. the busy pr and marketing team have prepped and carefully carved out snippets of what to expect at this years fashion event. The first snippet.. being the list of fashion creative(s) taking part. I was Surprised... when I say surprised.. I mean SURPRISED!! to see the label Gail Sorronda participating... the creative Gail Reid... hmmm.. things must have patched itself up:) xoxo, love must be back in the air... MBFF must have realised they need the label Gail Sorronda.. and vice versa xoxoxo oh mwah mwah.

I'll definately be fronting my presence at the Gail Sorronda showing... the label is a major draw card attraction for this years MBFF!!.

Going down the list... umm.. the label lover... I'll be excited to view this creative duo's fashion talents'. http://www.loverthelabel.com/, very impressive featuring, lush and plush fabrics to creative Northern and Southern Hemisphere collections. Classy on a creative edge.

The little festival travelling around the shores of Australia...created to assist and bring light to the emerging designer talents of Australia's creative(s)... the Fashion Forward Festival 2010 held recently in Sydney.

Crowned the winners of this years festival, granted with a nice tidy sum of 'X' amount of dollars.. was the team at WONDERS CEASE.

Headed by the thimble of Maryanne and Emma, their current collection for Wonders Cease, titled "The Lightness of Being"... my interpretation?.. a reflection of the raw being. A delicate case of weightlessness.. air and pure ambience.. transparent through the simple use of palette ( one or two really).

I can understand why they may have been chosen as one to watch...xoxo. Not skimping... ( just a very slang word for not compromising on cost ) on quality of textile. This investment within the collection is quite obvious. The Duo clearly has expensive taste ( a winning formula for many successful labels.... do not compromise on your FABRIC).

Hmmm.. maybe next year they'll be invited to participate in the RAFW? ( Rosemount Australian Festival).

I hear the next festival is in Melbourne.. 100 or so days counting down I suppose...xoxoxo.

Is the Fashion Forward Festival a winning formula?.. hmmm yet to be commented on.

I love the odd bits and pieces in the Gossip Couture collection, the fruity palette bolero jacket, the 'must have' organza silk high waist pant.. and the... wait for it..... the..... "UNITARD" ensembles.

The collection proudly announces 'limited edition liquid floral prints' and "80's inspired spandex basics". My opinion?....... I love the organza pant..., I like the idea of the 'unitard' ...( but doesn't confirm that i would wear it xoxo), I enjoy admiring the "floral" bolero!..... ( and yes I would wear it xo)

The Gossip collection lacks consistency.... although I clearly do not mind the offerings of pant, jacket, cape , shorts and leotards... I am slightly confused????. It would have been nice to witness a theme and agenda perhaps and continuity within each piece?.

Style rating: Gossip - Loving it for now.

Such wonderful news!!!, Apparently the little label... NEON HEARTACHE.. has hit a publicity high!... a fan following from the likes of RUBY ROSE..Mtv personality...and not a stranger to the face of fashion.

Bravo.. to the Pr team for Neon Heartache... whispers it's the talented team at Kaw Agency representing Neon Heartache. I predict this should be a very busy busy period for Miss Amelia Duncombe and her little/ ( not so little now) label Neon Heartache..... already national orders have sky rocketed....

I recall recently penning a review on Neon Heartache and how I declared the label about to peak and find it's rightful place in the fash. industry! Well who in the world would have guessed she landed in her rightful place so soon!!!!...

TOO AFFORDABLE FOR THE LABEL....SU-WEN LEONG.

SU-WEN LEONG...... an AUSTRALIAN designer. This is her creation, this is her vision, this is her hope for the fashionable woman.

When I first came across the creations of Su - wen Leong... I contemplated with thought: " there is something visually appealing about her designs... feminine and flirty, and full of taste".

This label is definately on trend with the fashion demands locally, nationally and somewhat internationally, but it isn't entirely cutting edge.. but that's ok.. because I don't think this is her goal.

My critic tongue says... the $ value of a Su-wen Leong creation suprised me!!!! Personally if you ask me, it is priced at a very very very very very very very very affordable 'Price'. Maybe this is the goal of Su-wen Leong.. to create beautiful on trend garments to suit the purse strings of all fashionista's????? who knows... but in my professional opinion, the garments appear to be almost too well made, presented and created to be placed at such an affordable price point.. if anything it almost undervalues the brand/label?.... these are just my critic thoughts. .....xoxo.

The affordable factor is only a minor element to point out...... I am certain there are many fashionista's who could fill their entire wardrobes with Su-wen Leong creations without breaking the bank account....

In conclusion: I think Su-wen Leong is capable of demanding more $ for her creations.... .. there is something special in your work Su -wen Leong...xx

Somewhere in the sunny side of Queensland in the bellowing bowels of Brisbane.... lies the little label....self righteously known as "Make Sean Famous"! Such a bold statement!, is it a statement?, is it a hope?, is it a dream?, is it a goal? is it a declaration?, or is it simply just a label... called "Make Sean Famous"?...with no hidden agendas except for the fact of carving out a reputation as a young and rising male talent... catering for the Maleista fashion taste buds.

hmmmmmm "Make Sean Famous".... I love the ring and tone to it... "Make Sean Famous", it almost reminds me of a fan base of screaming fashionista's holding up sign posts with the phrase splashed unwaringly......"Make Sean Famous"... almost similar to that of a petition!... sign up everyone... and "Make Sean Famous"!!!xo.

Putting aside all commercial shenanigans.......and focusing on the creations... my critic tongue would have to say... I am very impressed... very impressed indeed.

I believe Mr Sean Barker... ( aka face behind "Make Sean Famous") is just about to breath some new life into the male wardrobe. Could Mr Sean Barker be Australia's very own Mr Alexander Wang?... hmmmmm... he is definately a fresh new breed emerging on the shores of our fashionable border. He definately is producing impressive linear tales within his creations.

Minimalistic, simplistic, yet edgy in a very fashion forward manner. I love the head to toe detailing.. the simple constant draping....... the effortless appeal of teaming above the knee shorts with the male leggings....love love love.

Ladies and Gentlemen.. I think.. we are just about to witness the very FAMOUS beginning for a Mr Sean Barker!... .... so yes.. deservingly so... "Make Sean Famous".

Changing the face of Brisbane Male Fashion........................in a very Sean Barker way. xoxo.

If Mr Sean Barker is taking his "Make Sean Famous" label to showcase in this years Brisbane Mercedes Benz Festival... I predict the doors will be flying open everywhere for his future beginnings......xo

P.S. Mr "Make Sean Famous" is bursting onto the scene with a bevvy of talent: shoe designer and bag designer!!! this label is going to be a conglomerate in the male fashion sense.

YDO LAUNCH NIGHT............WAS TWO OR SO WEEKS AGO.

The launch of YDO on March 26th 2010.........was:

-small and intimate... which was perfect..., not too much hoo ha.. ( if you know what I mean)

-had invitees only... if you were not on the guestlist.. then sorry..

-a great evening for everyone from designers to media, press, socialites and select fashion fans to just have a great relaxed mingling time

-not pretentious... really it was just a nice professional unpretentious atmosphere..... ( which is highly unusual within the fash industry?????. ( but great)

-well planned!.... no major glitches from my observation

-a perfect beginning for YDO

- for those who were expecting some big she-bang runway launch parade with bells and whistles.... well, none of that was given or seen... instead, the mood was p.e.r.f.e.c.t...... just having a chilled time, and appreciating the young talents of YDO in a very humbling fashion..... which I loved!!!, the angle was so non - cliche......xoxo.

I promised I would do a piece on the much loved label Neon Heartache.. but regretfully, no images of their latest collection as yet. However I can say, I had the pleasure of adorning a Neon Heartache ensemble....not quite sure what you would call it,,... but lets just say, many appreciators of fashion approached me to stroke the black bird....xoxo.

A mini creation lathered in dark slick black feathers............GORGEOUSxo.

Amelia Duncombe, the beautiful brains behind Neon Heartache.. a little label propelled into existence only a few years ago.. but I believe is just about to peak in presence right about NOW!.
Fashionista's there is no webby..., but coming soon.... so till I get my hands on their recent collection images... you will just have to take my word for it!!! xo.

The best news waffled its way into my ear yesterday.. and of course publicly declared today. The best news to even take me away from my extreme duties of commentary
The best news that could even take me away from lacquering my nails with smokey grey Yves Saint Laurent....xo
The best news that could even stop me from sipping my tea
The best news that momentarily stopped me from touching up my lippy!!!!!

And the best news is of course the announcement that Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival ( Brisbane ) has found a new home!... and I am so proud to hear that the MR BENNETT team will be feeding fashion to the fashionably hungry.. by way of a Marquee.. in Southbank. ( I can just so see the vision:.. big and grand marquee, set up in a very plush New York with an Aussie flavour environment...runway show!)

My gosh, finally it has happened! The Brisbane offering of Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival is finally measuring up to its sister cities of Sydney and Melbourne!!xo. ( even though we will have to still wait to witness the fashion offerings and etc...).

Last year.. I recalled a penned review from Madam me.. myself, Alexandra E... a review which spoke of the brutally honest truth on Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival....... this year.. I hope to do the opposite... for some inkling of a feeling,, I think I will achieve just that! My fashion conscious tells me that this year.. Mr Bennett and his team are out to do some serious fashion rubbing!!, out to impress and make Brisbane shine within the fashion stakes for that momentary week!xoxo.

So proud am I .. as a fashion commentator, identity, critic, stylist, brain... whatever you may know me or refer to me as......that this is finally happening..a bigger and better showcasing of Brisbane's finest fashion event.

Now all they need to do is set it up like a very exclusive showing where front second and third row seats are reserved for VIP's within the industry.. I'm talking about the editors of Glossies, the voices behind the fashion bloggers..., the iconic fashion identities of celebrities and muses. Hang name plaques over the seating and take a snap shot of it.. just to tease the curiosity of fashionista's who just might be curious enough to want to attend the event purely for a glimpse of the VIP's...???.

Create a real New York'ish flavour.... This will only be achieved if you see a fashion blogger seated front row at an A-list designer showing in Brisban'es Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival.. blogging madly away.. beaming the information world wide to fashion lovers INSTANTLY!! If the team at MR Bennett's head quarters are clever and on to it... this is the new marketing flavour tactic to push the sales.... hmmmm I think I am a very clever fashion brain...xoxo.

Terribly excited with this years event... I predict it to be the best one yet for the Bennett team!!!xoxo. I'm shouting this to my overseas fashion lovers..... keep an eye on this little independent one.

In complete perfect timing............the whole leggings, tights wardrobe swap over is music to the ear of the creator of Black Milk Clothing!. Specialising in slick tight leggings.. Black Milk Clothing is shining in the moment of the arrival and survival of the leggings!!!xo.

If you couldn't possibly imagine how creative a pair of leggings could reach to??? then you obviously haven't tapped into the leggings of Black Milk Clothing.

I am especially impressed with the oh so sheeny and shiny lacquered look of the leggings entitled "The Black Wet Look"... so divine that it looks almost lacquered onto the footforms of fashionistas!!xoxo.

Felix & Slink............who and what?????

A few weeks ago, I received an email , attached was an invitation to Madam Ae accompanied with a press release. The invitation reading... something along the lines of.. lauch party etc.. etc... Felix & Slink.

So.. who are and what is Felix & Slink?, and how did they get Kate Waterhouse ( Style Editor for Sydney.'s publication etc..and daughter of racing queen Gail Waterhouse) to be their Mc for their launch?.. hmmm. I don't know and well, it doesn't really matter to know. .except that it is indeed impressive.

Impressive because apparently Felix & Slink is controlled, and run by a group of young, savvy creatives...hoping to push it, and make it in the marketing communications sector... and according to their webby..... also try to make it in every other element which is associated with fashion, luxury and beauty????

Any way.. all I can say.. is AMBITIOUS indeed... filling the market for young adult marketing...hmmm, I can't help shaking the feeling that it's gossip girls culture like come Felix & Slink???? ( Gossip Girls.. that American.. television show???)

Anyway.. wish them luck, and good on them for giving it a go... ...

By the way.. the youngest is 18 year old Tom.. Co-Director/Co-founder ( there are five of them in Felix & Slink) of the company..... hmmm. impressive???xooox.
