Introducing.....CHERRYMORRIS! . A striking hardcore brand specialising in statement belts and brooches.I must admit, Madam Alexandra E is not a 'big' fan of the waist belt craze. But this little company certainly could not be overlooked.
Recently I had the pleasure of admiring these unique pieces at a fashion do. Let me declare,...... materials are lux and the quality is 'sturdy'!
I can so picture the Cherry Morris brooches adorned on this season's Alexander Wang female tailored jackets..... or if you can't get your hands on an Alexander Wang thing.. then just decorate your own suit jacket or cardy...
Picture this.... even for the daring 'maleista' ( fashionista but in male form)... tight rat like jeans....worn with a Subfusco tight T........ ( have you seen their latest collection??? collective species or something????... to do die for.. for the male man.. searching for something very uniquely new york street style like artsy.....( that's another story).
Back to the outfit... drape over papa's cardigan.. and stick a Cherry Morris brooch on it. Style with flare..... oohh and don't forget the boots... or shiny patents is also suffice.. or even just your good old volleys.... footwear is explorable for the maleista.
Funk/ style up one of your well tailored office ensembles with a Cherry Morris belt... but only if you have the fashion confidence!
Loving the detailed pewter casting... and get this,ladies.. suck in the waists and hold your breath.....all made by hand! and created from genuwine.. ( genuine) leather.... hmmm sniff the fresh leather.
Personally.. Madam Alexandra E. would most likely belt it up in a thin hip belt... .... that's as daring as I would go. Yes, yes, call me conservative what you may.. or what you will. It's personal taste and style really.
I say.. watch out for this little Sydney company... I can so see the NYC's fashionista's lapping it up with their oversize arm candy's.
