SU-WEN LEONG...... an AUSTRALIAN designer. This is her creation, this is her vision, this is her hope for the fashionable woman.When I first came across the creations of Su - wen Leong... I contemplated with thought: " there is something visually appealing about her designs... feminine and flirty, and full of taste".
This label is definately on trend with the fashion demands locally, nationally and somewhat internationally, but it isn't entirely cutting edge.. but that's ok.. because I don't think this is her goal.
My critic tongue says... the $ value of a Su-wen Leong creation suprised me!!!! Personally if you ask me, it is priced at a very very very very very very very very affordable 'Price'. Maybe this is the goal of Su-wen Leong.. to create beautiful on trend garments to suit the purse strings of all fashionista's????? who knows... but in my professional opinion, the garments appear to be almost too well made, presented and created to be placed at such an affordable price point.. if anything it almost undervalues the brand/label?.... these are just my critic thoughts. .....xoxo.
The affordable factor is only a minor element to point out...... I am certain there are many fashionista's who could fill their entire wardrobes with Su-wen Leong creations without breaking the bank account....
In conclusion: I think Su-wen Leong is capable of demanding more $ for her creations.... .. there is something special in your work Su -wen Leong...xx
