Men's Style: Summer into Fall

Here in the U.S. we are transitioning into our cooler Fall weather. Albeit the dreaded task of pushing aside our Summer comforts and for some... awkwardly bringing out our Frumpy Fall.

The Tran - seasonal wardrobe overhaul, doesn't have to raise your stress levels, instead, think quick, practical and key pieces.

Here are a few of my hints for tran-seasonal changes:

Keep the denim in front.  A good pair of denim worn with a V-neck simple style shirt, with a light scarf and boots can be a trendy ensemble for the Fall.   The v-neck shirt elongates the torso and creates structure in your outfit.

The layered look is always in style and crucial during the fall when the temperatures fluctuate constantly.

Layering is a great way to utilise most of your items in your wardrobe. Mix and matching shirt's, sweater's and your old standby's. But keep in mind not to over- layer yourself, there is a difference between discreet layering and hobo style layering.

Mixing your Summer colors with your fall colors is a great way to re- conceive your wardrobe. Don't be afraid to layer your block colors and your textures.

I have always invested in a nice key tailored wool suit, when Fall arrives.  If tailored is not an option, opt for an alternative wool suit.  Invest in a suit which will allow for the versatility of using the blazer as a key piece separately.

The weather may be approaching dreariness, but your wardrobe doesn't have to suffer the drab.
