Hail thy to Brisbanite fashion princess ( not quite yet a fashion queen) Juli Grbac! Did thy fashion homework, and clawed with my french tips, bits and pieces of fashion info's about J. Grbac 'designista'. But was dangerously nodding off into a 'beauty sleep' on my beloved throne... that's how possibly bored I was... prying my Chanel lathered mascara peepers open.Click click.. right mousy click... to the fashion webby of Grbac http://www.juligrbac.com.au/. Underneath extra large Christian Dior eye candies... I cast upon a wish wash of airy fairy creations. (Princess) J.Grbac, her latest S/S 2010 collection didn't really do much to stir the fashion pot..... I graciously tap my M. Blahnik heels in unison.. just to give Grbac a small fashion approval, because it's 'oh so pretty', and makes me feel like tip toeing delicately.
Nothing really different???. except for the extra credit of winning that t.v show... ( yes.. Project.. .. you know what a year back). Most likely, swearing upon my dangling Samantha Wills ear ornament creations.. ( because I love it to bits), Grbac has merely resurrected the fashion cravings of 'femininity'.You know what moi is raving on about.. the fun, flirty, frilly, " ooops I did it again.. lalalala'" come girly feeling effect. No reel 'bang wow ' factor felt underneath thy heels... instead just a notion of..." well at least it's all wearable?, but tediously flat... my fashion buds aren't tickled in the faintest way... unfortunately. Boring bits here and there.......but hey.. if there's a market for it.. then why not???... but then again.... why!!!????.
Grbac may have been a topic of champers conversation last year or so ago.. but this year.. Grbac may just be struggling to stay in the 'five minutes of fashion fame limelight', unless of course Grbac has an 'epiphany' fashionista moment.. and pulls out a 'wow' factor for all to saviour!
This princess 'designista' has a whole lot more to her...( moi believes)... but has yet to find that 'ah ha' moment with the collection.. although she thinks she has... but my fashion brain believes not quite yet!.. a few more season's and the inspiration hopefully will come hitting down in fashion thunder bolts on J.Grbac 'designista'!
My fashion truth tongue to dear J. Grbac?, begin with your webby dear!, it almost bores one to tears! For someone to have just walked off television fashion heaven.........., her webby? 'not so impressive!'.....I'm praying on my 'Mother Maria' ensemble, that quite possibly your makeup team is whipping up a new look for the webby.... as moi speaks!!!..if not..., then do so now!.. and then just maybe... maybe in the hopes of high fashion heaven, J.Grbac will pull out a little 'ooohh ahh stunner' collection.
Maybe.. frills come studs and chains???.. who knows......... just lay off the peach and brown.. it was done to death..during the Collette Dinnigan phase.. ( remember sequins and beading's galore?).. don't do us fashion lovers to death with frills and pale wearable gowns... put in a few "can't really wear.. but looks just as lush to have and look at!' numbers in the collection.. just so the fashion lovers can have a few non- wearable pieces to lust after. Don't give us 'predictable and typical' darling... give the fashion lovers 'wishful thinking'... the collection had too many 'I can wear that' feelings. Instead, bring on a kind of fashion king..... 'Alex Perry' moment.... where it's predictable that Mr A.Perry will do wonderful floor sweeping or mini thigh high numbers.... but the 'wow' factor is there each and every time! ( your fashion followers will always love you Mr A. Perry xoxox mwah).
Fashion kiss though to dear J.Grbac ( mwah mwah xxx) for readjusting our fashion tastes for a brief moment.. for all things, prancy and clancy.. sitting pretty little thing.
