To my international fashionista's... Melbourne cup day.. is a day of 'horse racing'... but to a fashion lover... the importance is really focused on the fashion. For fashion lovers... putting on the best fashion showings and 'fascinators'.... 'head pieces.. adorning the crowns of femme fatale's!.... for a day.. you can truly wear your own crown and be the fashionable queen you have always wanted to be!Mwah xoxo.
Hectic would have to be the day.....slick this, slick that, pin this, pin that.. strap on this, strap on that, zip this, zip that, and dab this and dab that. Just a complete wish wash of fashionable action.. all for the much anticipated annual Australian 'racing day' event.. the M- Cup ( Melbourne Cup).
I, Madam Alexandra E. was invited to be guest judge for the fashion offerings at the Limes' Hotel...own staging of a M- cup day festivity ( Lime's fashions on the field), along with the major presence of style man, t.v personality himself... Mr Mike Goldman as host. We both would have agreed that up on stage it felt like a degree of 'pizza ovens'... we both would have also agreed that with Mike's MC offerings and my pick of the fashion bunch... a few fashionista's went home proud as punch with their winnings!.
My critic tongue on the complete package of the Limes event???????. I would have to say.. it was staged very well!, rooftop....good music... good food ( although I barely had time to drink... let alone eat), and good old Brisbanite company!. Definately a stylish affair with that Brisbanite influence.

Boy what a degree of swelter it was!....hot hot hot... ! Fashionista's if you didn't have good coverage.. then you would have melted like a candle! (I am referring to the 'face palette coverage').

Was Mr Goldman styliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiish?????, from my critic tongue... I would declare yes!!. very befitting for such an event.
